I was fortunate enough to receive the Meet Me At Mike’s craft book for my birthday back in March.
As the book was given to me by one of the contributors – the very talented Alison of 6.5 stitches – I thought it only appropriate that her project be the first one I complete.
The original pattern is for a doll’s size quilt but I sized it up to fit a cot or for it to be used as a baby’s play-mat. To hold it all together I used embroidery floss and quilted a lasso swirl to tie in with the cowboy print.
I loved doing this quilt, it was a fun and quick project to finish…I almost don’t want to give it away!

How awesome! Nice work.
I love that natural coloured cotton/linen you have quilted on. I have been looking for that exact fabric for some time now. Do you mind me asking where you got it? Lovely quilt by the way. :o)
Thanks for your reply and help! I will have to make a trip over there. :o)

This is such a beautiful quilt!! You are so clever, I can’t believe how many lovely quilts you have made. I would love to make one for one of my daughter’s beds. This looks like one I might be able to manage. Might! Lovely pinks perhaps.
