Bee Modern…

by Kate on September 1, 2009

Two blocks for Salt Marsh Designs, in the Bee Modern Quilting Bee.

These are just about finished, Aimee requested that we add some ric-rac to each block – I am still thinking about where to position the embellishments.

Each block measures 12.5″ square, I added the Lush Paint By Number bird and the linen/cotton blend. I hope you like them Aimee!

Oh, so, so trying. But the work keeps piling up and as soon as one bit is
out the door another something comes in. It'll be a spontaneous 'sod it, I'm
going' if I am…x

Thanks Karlyn. It's always a little tricky to come up with something with
other peoples fabric, I'm sure you will discover this with the Beehive!

Thank you! I have a quilting reference book that gives lots of different
block combos but the web is always a great reference spot.
