So we are now at the pointy end of the year, two weeks before Christmas and I always seem astounded at just how quick the years seem to be flying by.
2009 has been full of changes for me. The interstate move has been fantastic but difficult, and if I am completley honest I have found it tough being away from friends and family…my support network that I really did take for granted.
Luckily, there have been a few people who have really taken the time to get to know me and extended their hand in friendship when I first arrived. I’m sure they don’t realise it but their friendship has made things for me here so much easier. You know who you are, thank you x
One of the main reasons I started blogging was to just get some feedback on some of the things I was making. There are no crafters in my family and I didn’t really have anyone to share my projects with. Who knew that nearly a year later, blogging would have opened up an entire new world to me.
I am constantly amazed by the level of generosity within the crafting community. People are so generous with their time, support, encouragement and friendship. I really just wanted to say thank you for stopping by, for leaving comments, for ‘words’ of encouragement and for in turn – inspiring me.
This is my last post for 2009, I am going to take a break from the Mac (and the sewing machine) and enjoy the festivities with family and friends.
I couldn’t, however, leave without showing you the last of my Christmas sweing.
Liberty and Hope Valley, don’t they look fantastic together.
Cannot get enough of this goat print.
And some robots and linen.
Wishing you a fantastic Christmas and New Year…see you in 2010!
