20 hours sitting at the back of the plane is never an enjoyable experience, even after watching 5 films. Although, now we are here it seems like a distant memory.
Both Lynn and Victoria recommended checking out ABC Carpet and Home and Fishs Eddy. I am so glad they did, the moment I walked through the doors I died and went to homewares heaven.
Jason is counting his blessings the airlines have baggage restrictions as I could have done some serious damage with Mr Mastercard. I was having a conniption over these ceramic rubber gloves.

Woohoo! Looking great so far Kate! That homewares store looks amazing. When you going to Purl huh huh when??? ;)
Looks positively horrid – glad you are having such fun! Surely the joys of wallaby vicotry will soften J to shopping exploits!
You know Kirst is going to look at those hands and having a 'we can make those' lightbulbs – don't you
Wow – That's the life! Enjoy.

I'm taking notes … we'll be there in October .
Insanely green over MoMA tomorrow. Also can't see what possible argument Jason would have over ceramic glove purchase. They're for doing the dishes, right?
Enjoy!!
Can't wait to see/read more of your travels Kate!!
You are making me wish I was back in New York. Have a great time.
It looks fabulous – how wonderful to be there. I hope you have the most amazing time.
Mr HB is in NYC on business at the moment too ( … although he did drop the word Guggenheim into conversation on Saturday, he has wisely ommitted talking about the beautiful weather!)
Ooooh fabulous pics Kate. How lovely to have some local knowledge, what a shop! xo
