You may recall that a few weeks ago, I took part in the Doll Quilt Swap #9.
I’m not sure about you, but the reason that I participate in swaps is because I like making things and I especially like making things for other crafters. What I get sent to me isn’t why I do swaps and if I get something I truly love well, I just look at it like it is a real bonus.
I got the BEST bonus on Friday.
Susan created for me the most beautiful quilt, made out of my favourite colour and in a block that I have long admired but yet to do myself.
Susan told me that making a quilt out of just one colour was something she normally doesn’t do and put her outside her comfort zone.
I think she has done a superb job and I really appreciate her making the effort -thank you!
