I’m experimenting with all things woven and while I don’t think this pincushion is a complete failure, there is still a way to go.
I better get back to the loom and the drawing board.
Head over to Kirsty’s to check out this weeks creative spaces and while your there make sure you take a look at the prettiest pins around.

Great idea! Look forward to seeing more woven goodness.
I actually love it! It's simple and beautiful.
I think it's gorgeous. I love the keep on keeping on attitude that got you to this point & look forward to further woven development.
I think that pin chusion is beautiful, simple and stunning. Love it!
I think it looks great!! nice and different to other pincushions!
I don't think it s a failure at all – it's so pretty and I love the pretty blue weaving in and out.
looks beautiful to me! I love the colors you picked.
Your pins are pretty good looking too! ;)
Taht looks really nice – your pincushion – can't wait to see what else you come up with…
Failure? No way!
That's a very pretty pincushion and I'm looking forward to seeing what else you weave.

No it's not a failure at all. It's gorgeous!
Very sweet Kate, xt.
I love it too. The texture is refreshing :)
I think it's divine! It doesn't need a thing in my eyes – so simple and perfect and practical too… I mean, if you're meant to stick pins in it and actually use it, you don't want it to be cluttered with too much ;) Great space. K
i think it is really lovely and good on you, persisting and learning. hope your finger is improving
I think it is gorgeous! I love the woven look and the colours you have used xo
Love the colors and the texture!
It's not a failure! What's wrong with it? And pin cushions don't have to be perfect anyway!
I think it is beautiful too. So glad you can still create while healing! xo
I love it!
Say it with me…."I'm waaaaaaay to modest". My goodness, that pincushion is beautiful and I'm just trying to work out how you did it in terms of sewing the base to the woolen top. I don't sew (yet) so my sewing language and basic understanding of it is…well…basic!
this is such a great way to use your new weaved fabric!@
Wow it's gorgeous! I love the flecks of colour through the natural yarn.
A simply gorgeous little number. Clever you. How beautiful are your pins too?!
Carmel
I have decided that you are Resilience with a capital R. Nothing stops you. Given half a chance (ongoing tingly finger?) your entire house will be snuggled in woven-ness.
Nice pins.
Love the Texture…it's Perfect.
cheers
A very pretty woven piece indeed. Read your post on 'the finger' it made my stomach turn. Hope it's healing well.
I am loving that idea! Beautiful!
I like!!!
(And your pins are pretty lovely too!)
I am loving your work!
That is gorgeous! and I agree your pins are pretty lovely too! :-)
I really love it.. The pins are lovely too.
love the pincushion. Its beautiful!
I reckon that would look super cute with a little wooly embroidery added (is that crewel) though I can't leave any surface un-embroidered at the moment.
I love your 9 finger crafting
I really really like it. Super sweet.
