While living in London, we made the most of Europe being on our back doorstep. Whenever we visited a new city, we always made a point of picking up a tacky tourist magnet.
I’m quite fond of my magnets and I always feel a little sad when one breaks -which since the kids have arrived, happens all too often.

Oh dear…please tell me that the Holland one isn't the one in the right top corner?!
I would love to mail you a fridge magnet! lol Great collection.

I'm glad I'm not the only one whose fridge is covered in tourist magnets! Lovely collection – much more extensive than mine. A friend of mine collects Christmas ornaments from the countries she visits, I wish I had thought of that one!
Ha! I have that exact same sex shop magnet from Amsterdam.
Me too! I nearly cried when one of my favorite magnets broke – a Stonehenge one. And I was so cross with my sister for breaking one of Chester Rows!
Haha, great collection! You should see our fridge – we did the exact same thing, We have a HK Central version of that train stop sign there. Very cool collection.
Sigh, my kids already broke all of mine … and all of my tacky snow dome collection… had some good ones too!
Hey are we catching up tomorrow? What would you like to do?
Gold pure gold.
They make quite an eclectic display! A bit like the cloth badges I bought in Europe back in 1980, and sewed to my backpack! Great collection!
you should have a magnet swap, I would happily send one form England
I collect them too but I must say your collection looks quite lovely grouped together! Would make a gorgeous framed photo.
I grew up in a coastal area with its share of tacky tourist shops. As a result a friend and I always sought out the tackiest tourist "gift" we could find when we traveled anywhere else. It was always worth a good laugh.
