…is about me creating unique, one-of-a kind quilts. Quilts with character and a bit of personality.
I love making quilts but a girl can only have so many and when I am not making quilts for family and friends I will be listing them in the shop.
Pretty in Pink has been made with 100% cotton fabric, organic cotton batting and backed with soft flannel.
The quilt is heavily quilted with free-form lines adding texture and interest. You can read about the beginnings of this quilt here.

This quilt is beautiful. Will you be offering the pattern, either to buy or as a tutorial?
Hi Barb,
Thanks so much. I have a few things on the go at the moment but if there is enough interest I can write up a tutorial.
Thanks,
Kate

Yummy musk pink in your quilt. I look forward to seeing more of your lovely creations. I like the randomness of the quilting too. Good stuff.
This quilt certainly does have personality, Kate. It’s stunning, as usual!
I’ve come over from Kootoyoo to look at your lovely quilt. It’s so rich in colour and texture. Beautiful!
congratulations on bespoke x
… & what an opening piece ;) so pretty :)
Gorgeous. Love the irregular blocks and the free form quilting oh and the colours. Great stuff.
so pretty.
So lovely, I so much prefer the quilts with personality – beautiful ones that aren’t trying to be a complex intensely squared/triangled patterned madness. I have a dream (yet to be realised) of making african quilts – quilts with african fabric. I have heaps stored up, but the project is on hold till September!
I must have missed this last week. Lovely quilt, very happy, beautiful.
Oh this is divine! Love the quilting on it too. xo
