The biggest is off to her first day at school, we are all really excited.
For me, it is tinged with a little bit of sadness but I have also been looking forward to this day for quite a while. It brings her one step closer to the end of her childhood but it brings some much needed ‘me’ time.
You will think I am a complete headcase but I got a little ‘concerned’ that she wouldn’t be able to find her bag. I imagined poor little Maddie at lunch hunting for her bag in a sea of identical blue school bag.

Neurotic but you never know.
A great stem stitch tutorial can be found here and whilst you are there, check out all the other creative spaces.
You may have noticed my new digs? A big thank you to Nova for making it possible x

lovely little tag… I am about to make something for my girls pencil cases..
good luck tomorrow
No I know exactly what you mean! Gone are the days of just needing to identify which of the different shades of PINK backpacks are yours, suddenly the whole school has the same bag! It’ll be the most gorgeous bag tag there ;)
Hey and great new digs!
my pleasure ;)

No, it’s a great idea, i have had 4 with the same school back packs for 2 years & their names blastered across them as i have trouble finding who is who. Now one is off to high school, it’s 1 navy blue & 3 black, surely that will be easier!! Happy school days ahead of you, love Posie
Your stem stitchery is magnificently gorgeous!
I hope she has a ball.
Finally, on the very last day of the holidays I think I am ready for mine to go back tomorrow. Well for a day anyway.
Gorgeous! She’ll be set. x
