Modern Quilt Pattern: Geometric

by Kate on March 7, 2011

I’m thrilled with how this one turned out. Beautifully crinkled, soft and relaxed, perfect for a little baby.

Which is a good thing as I am sending it to my cousin who is due in a few months, the same cousin who I made the grey cardi for. Ames did huge amounts of babysitting for us when we were local and it was very much appreciated.

What a lovely colour combination! I’ve found myself using a lot of yellow in quilts etc for soon-to-appear baby number two, as it’s practically the only gender neutral baby colour I like (don’t yet know what we’re having). Love the LIberty backing – must be incredibly soft and yummy!

Kicking myself, I am. I’ll have to have another baby or something. When the youngest was tiny I was googling Youtube knitting videos. The quilty thing entirely escaped my attention. ‘Til now…GAH!
