Another quick crochet gift for a new baby, hooked in the glorious Plucky Knitter yarn.
The blanket* is made up of the simple v-stitch, 40 rows to be exact and after blocking it measures 24″ x 26″. I would have loved to have made it a bit bigger but I only had two skeins in the stash.
Ravelled here.
* Just in case you were wondering, all work on this blanket was done BEFORE Easter. Good progress is being made on the hexagons.

Looks gorgeous – great strong colour for a baby!
Gorgeous colour…& you know how much I love a V stitch. x
Superb Kate, I love it.
I agree with Kirsty, that is an absolutely amazing colour! Lovely and soft looking for a new baby.
Thanks Michelle. It is for a little boy so perfect!
Sooo cute. Love the colour!
Very nice :)
oh. yum.

Such a pretty blanket! I used to have a similar blanket when I was little that I loved to peek through and put my fingers through. I loved it!
Thanks Stacey, I hope the new baby gets lots of use out of it x
Oh my, that baby blanket is adorable and the colour divine :)
Well I definitely will NOT be showing a certain green obsessed three-year old this gorgeous blanket. He’d want one straight away! Sure to be loved by bub and parents ;)
It’s beautiful.
You’ve been making some gorgeous green things lately!!
xx
Well, I was going to ask about the hexies…
(in the meanwhile that v-stitch business is glorious).
I like that blanket so much. It is yet another reminder why I need to re-learn crochet as fast as I can.
I love that colour too! So nice to see a baby blanket in something other than pastels… Looks nice and snuggly too!
And one more for my to do list! Thanks a lot … :P
