There is a reason why so many people have knitted up the Milo vest, the pattern is well written and the end result is pretty cute.
It’s a funny thing but I just don’t get clucky when I see new babes but show me some baby clothes and I go ga-ga.
I think the clothes represent everything that is beautiful about babies and I conveniently forget about the bad…the sleepless nights, the screaming, the endless feeding and my general state of ‘I am about to lose my mind’.
Anyhow, this vest is off to a friend who is expecting number 2 in September.
I thoroughly enjoyed (read: thrilled to finish something knitted without having to frog the thing) this confidence building knittery project, ravelled here.

Yeehah! Love it.
Very nice, am thinking this could be good for some friends babies! Do you think boys would look good in it too?
Rach x
This one is for a boy, so yes!
Babies are the best accessories aren’t they!
I think that’s the first one I’ve seen without the cable and I like it a lot!
Are you coming over to the dark side of two needles??
I’m trying Kate, I’m a trying.
Enjoyed Milo a lot! Working my way up to something a little larger but may try another ‘small’ project first.
I love this so much. I am in love with soft greys this season and this is just perfect!
Those sticks are a’smokin’! (AGAIN).
This IS the cutest vest. I love it!
This is lovely Kate – and I really like the grey. Your knitting looks perfect too!!

It is a very sweet vest for a very lucky baby.
Borrowing internet time to perv on craft and I had to come visit. Always glad that I have. Your Milo is sweet indeed and I admit to any type of cluckiness presently. Small clothes. Babies. Even ducklings. There is no stopping my hormones!
