Back to it

Are there any quilters still reading?

You would be forgiven if you have nicked off as there hasn’t been much sewing here of late…

I did dust off the machine yesterday as a good mate is expecting a little girl, given they live in Singapore I knew a knitted or hooked gift was out of the question.

So, I have returned to the ever faithful quilt.

Back to it

I am basing this quilt on the ‘grey windows‘ one I made for Mum. It will be much smaller though, more of a playmat or pram size.

Should be finished later this week…one hopes.

Just the other day I was going through my blog reader and categorizing things and I couldn’t remember if you actually ever did quilt :) It didn’t take much looking to be reminded but I gladly continue to read, whatever the crafty pursuit.

Mate, you’re too blooming good at the quilty thing to leave the machine wallowing in dust for too long…

You wouldn’t have liked to see me today though…bit of a disaster at the machine.

Of course I’m still reading! Lovely to see you quilting something again. It has been a very lean year here on the crafting front so I have particularly enjoyed seeing everyone else’s projects as they come together.
