The shawl works up very quickly, was easy to modify and the yarn was sublime. A 50% baby alpaca 50% merino blend – it is quite possibly the softest, lightest wool around…albeit a little fluffy.
I used two colours (instead of the three specified) and omitted a few sections to suit my size preference.
This one is getting put aside for a Christmas gift and I am feeling quite chuffed with myself that I have managed to finish something off amongst the moving chaos.

From what I saw on the needles last week, it’s hard (for me who knows nothing of yarny things) to believe it ended up so big.
But it was always going to be lovely.
Hope you are managing with all the moving stuff.
