The last four days…

by Kate on September 12, 2011

We flew to Sydney, dropped off the kids and lost the bags.
Arrived here a day late but saw some humpbacks on the way.
Enjoyed the warmth of the sun.
Made the most of the quiet.
Read two books and loved both.
Have eaten more food than I thought possible.
Savoured a pretty drink…or two…or three.
Missed the kids.
Thanks to WiFi, I bought my mate a coffee and you should too.

Thelast four days..

But more importantly, have just enjoyed hanging out with J.

I’m feeling a little bit sick at the sight of that!!!

I feel the exhale in that last point & applaud you both. You’re tops…both of you.

Thanks for the cuppa too…I owe you. x

That is so many kinds of fabulous (except the luggage bit). I reckon I know two persons who’d be up for the same sort of medicine you prescribe (except the luggage bit)…

Bliss. (Except for missing the kids and losing the luggage).
Glad you can enjoy some time together and unwind. I’d gladly take your prescription.
Make the most of the sunshine :) It’s still cold here in Sydney (but warming up towards the end of the week). And enjoy breathing in the fresh air.

where the heck is that place??? Looks like heaven on earth! I’ve read The Help and loved it too (can’t wait for the movie), so will try your other recommendation x

I doubt I would even want to leave a place that looks that fabulous.
Glad you had a great time :)

Sounds lovely. My kids are grown and gone their way so I spend most of my time with my hubby. we’ve become good friends. The you time is so important.
