Well, this week I do.
I have had my fair share of eBay disappointments.
You know the one, you find what you are looking for, place your bid/s…only to be eSniped at the very last second.
It happens to me A LOT (I really need to figure out the whole e-snipe thing) but it didn’t with these chairs.
I have been looking for a set of vintage chairs for a while and when Kirst clocked these, I knew I had to get bidding.
They went for an absolute song, are in mint condition and that there is the original baby cord upholstery.

LOVE!! Great buy. Wish I had a place for a pair of retro chairs.

YES – I do find all the good stuff. They look BRILLIANT!!!
Score! What’s not to love about mint bargain mid-century furniture.
Love the buttons in back!
Wow! Great find! I’ve only recently caught the ebay bug and I’ve been a total maniac! I’ve been bidding away on 1950s ceramics like a loon but they’re mostly in the States and the bidding ends at 3am or times like that (it’s driving me crazy). Congratulations on your chairs – they are just fantastic. Loving the blue glass collection with them too :) Kx
these are fantastic!
Wow, fantastic score! They look great with your beautiful blue glass. I am an eBay obsessive, but have never heard of eSnipe (have sworn at the snipers PLENTY, though) – thanks for the heads up!
Fabulous! I suppose if you try long enough you’ll pick up a gem! Good for you!
wow, Kate, what a win!! I always seem to be out bid in those dying seconds and quite frankly outs me off…but perhaps I should stick in there and be rewarded one day with such beauties ;-)
And the bonus is they’re super comfy too!
Perfectly compliments the blue glass – great style!
Awesome chairs, lucky you! I had no idea about esnipe, now I know why we’ve lost outin the dying seconds recently. Hmmm sneaky!
