I loved knitting this and I love the finished product even more.
Knit in the smallest size (1-4) and made for my cousin’s little girl, Pia who will be 1 in May. Although it will be a little big for Pia to begin with, she should get quite a lot of wear out this.
Maddie asked me to knit her one but after wearing it for five minutes proclaimed it was “too itchy”. I find that very hard to believe, the wool is lovely and soft, it was a real pleasure to knit with.
Pattern – Squishy Love by Amanda Keeys
Wool – Gems sport weight by Louet
Buttons – Pegs from all buttons great and small

Just beautiful…sweetest model in the world too, xxt.
And thus the mysetery is solved! :) It looks great Kate! I’ve not tried that yarn before – but I have to admit, when I’m buying yarn, I always press it under my chin or on my neck to see if it itches – I’m fussy like that. Gems is a scrumptious colour – berry gelati anyone?

My goodness, Kate! It is divine.
I love the colour & the ribbing.
The model is super cute too.
Happy Australia Day.
Oh it’s fabulous! This was the holiday knitting project, wasn’t it? Looks wonderful :) Kx
Just gorgeous! I love the yarn, the pattern, the colour (and I normally don’t care for pinky hues)! I am still only 2/3 of the way through a honey cowl started last year….I think I’ve forgotton where I was in the pattern too! I’m definitely not destined to become a super knitter anytime soon, but this inspires me to try a bit harder… maybe I could drag it out and have a look at it today – see if I can figure out how to continue, since I’m confined to the house with a sick puppy.
Happy Australia Day!
I have just recently spotted and fell love with this..I love it, need to find someone to make it for because I don’t think my little one would wear it long..Maybe just for pictures haha…:)
Good job, she is soooo cute!
love it Kate, the colour, they style, the buttons…even the cute model.
