I had quite a few requests for a tutorial on the Net Scarf, now the “Net Scowl” – thanks Rit!
You can download the tutorial here OR head over to Ravelry.
Have you noticed that there have been so many glorious & colourful yarny projects popping up of late?
It has inspired me to start a crochet blanket for the family.
I am using these colours, purchased at Calico & Ivy and I am waiting on some Madelinetosh Vintage in charcoal, to use as the base colour.
Very much looking forward to getting started on this, although I have a feeling it will take a while to be finished!

Nah, you just need to find your inner Woman Possessed. Those colours are delicious so I won’t be letting you off the hook on this one!
PS. Very clever to be starting a blanket project at the start of autumn, as opposed to the start of summer.
Ohh the colours are lovely, thought I might share a little secret, check out this website for Debbie Bliss yarn, with the exchange its practically half price a ball of baby cash merino if you are interested of course xx

Thanks Renee but I do love supporting my local yarn shop, when possible.
I also find it so tricky to select multiple colours from the computer screen.
Looks lovely already. Have you chosen a pattern yet?
Hey Kate, can I come and play in your yarn??? ;) Lush colours.
Ok, I’m off to Rav to have a little look-see. Thanks lovely!

thank you kate for endorsing your loyalty to your local yarn store.
unfortnately those people who search and buy [meanwhile already used their local yarn shop to get their colors etc] from the internet are the whingers who whine that their local store has “dissappeared ‘.
